Tribal Government Assistance

The NRCS is making special efforts to provide conservation programs services to American Indians and Alaska Natives. Technical assistance is being provided by NRCS offices on Indian Reservations. Working with the Inter-Tribal Agricultural Council an estimate 30 full-time offices and 35 part time offices have been established to serve America Indian Nations. In addition, 22 Tribal Conservation districts have been established.
