Environmental Justice
The RCCD Division is taking a leadership role in implementing the
President’s Executive Order 12898 issued February 11, 1994. This order sets
forth executive policy for Environmental Justice activities in federal
agencies. NRCS is taking into consideration, in every program and area of
service, the extent that minority and low income communities are
disproportionately or adversely affected through NRCS program
administration, policy and activities.
